Geoff Cleary

Just heard from someone I met that Geoff Cleary has passed over.He died of cancer in the 90's.He thinks he was the buffer but not sure of the year onboard, possibly 80's. Somebody might know.

Geoff Cleary was not only the Buffer but also the CPO Sonar. I left the ship May 81 and he was still on there then. I last saw Geoff in the late 80's when he was working for British Rail at Cosham Railway Stn,and if my memory serves me well it was in early to mid 90's that he passed away.
